- This page displays all of the atmospheric data received for a selected date from a single NHDOT ESS located on a NH highways or NHDOT facilities that provides such data.
- At most sites, the highest reported visibility will be 1.1 miles. Exceptions are as follows: 1.2 miles for Echo Lake, LaFayette, and Littleton; Salem and Ashland have newer sensors and can report visibility as high as 7.1 miles; and Dover can report visibilities up to 12.4 miles.
- Starting on 1 Aug 2015, data reporting changed as follows:
- Precipitation can be listed as "None" for no precipitation. It may also be reported as "Recent" if it just recently ended or "Now" if it just started.
- When precipitation has been detected and an intesity has been determined, the precipitation intensity will be listed as "LGT" for light or "MOD" for moderate or "HVY" for heavy
- The entry, "Precip", following an intensity usually means that the precipitation is rain or drizzle or an indeterminate type of precipitation.
- When snow/ice is identified by the sensor, the precipitation type following the intensity will be listed as "Snow".
- Prior to 1 Aug 2015, data reporting changes were as follows:
- Precipitation intensities are reported as "Slight", "Moderate", or "Heavy" and "None" for no precipitation.
- Precipitation types are reported as "None" for no Precipitation and either "Rain", "Snow", "Ice", or "Unidentified"
- Missing or not reported data are left as blank entries.
