Select a pre-defined region OR map center location {4-digit ICAO identifier - e.g. KALB or 5-digit WMO number - e.g. 72518 or latitude,longitude pair - e.g. 41.93,-88.71} and zoom factor: the imagery type; date/time; the desired image size; type of output (single image or loop options); latitude and longitude lines option; enhanced color option for IR images; and web page or print (for single images).
Notes:
- If you don't set the date, you will get the latest image available.
- Data only go back to 15 days from the current date.
- GOES Infrared(IR), Visible(VIS) Water Vapor(WV) imagery is normally updated every 10 minutes and are received about 10 minutes after data time.
- For loops, the date/time selected will be the approximate end time of the 25-frame loop.
- The zoom function only works in conjunction with the map center location option, not with the pre-defined regions.
- Only 10.7 um IR satellite images can be displayed with color enhancements.
