I've been an all around meteorologist since 1982, including observer, forecaster and analyst, scientific programmer, research scientist, and teacher. I have both civilian and military experience. I was active duty USAF for more than 10 years.

I've taught at the University of New Hampshire, Harvard, Istanbul Technical University, and Plymouth State University, and in informal venues like the Campton Historical Society and the World Fellowship Center. My publications include textbooks on atmospheric thermodynamics and radar meteorology, and peer-reviewed papers on mesoscale meteorology and water vapor physics. My educational background is in applied and theoretical meteorology, physics, earth sciences, physical oceanography, and applied mathematics. I also have an MBA.

My work with attorneys and other clients is to help plaintiffs recover losses, and to defend innocent people. I've been doing this work since 2008. My civil law work includes slip-and-fall cases, personal injury by other means, aviation accidents, automobile accidents, structural issues (such as leaky roofs and roof collapses), winter storm damage to marinas and other structures, and back-country weather reconstruction. I've also been involved in three criminal defense cases.

I'm a member of the AMS's Board of Certified Consulting Meteorologists, and the Association of Certified Meteorologists.

I look forward to assisting you with your weather consulting needs.
