Enter 4-digit ICAO Station ID (e.g. KCON) or Lat,Lon (43.68,-73.88), then select model, type of diagram, latest or previous model run, whether you want lifted parcel temperatures plotted or not, diagram width in pixels, the animation type, and the type of page.
Notes:
- Check a map or this list for possible station identifiers.
- Blank charts or error messages will result if the requested data are not sufficient or available.
- If the "latest" model data option doesn't work, not all new model data may have been received. In which case, try the "previous" option.
- Model data is only kept for approximately 24 hours.
- NAM/WRF (CONUS & AK)
- Model base times for CONUS are 00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z.
- Model base times for Alaska are 00Z and 12Z.
- Forecasts for CONUS are at 3 hour intervals out to 60 hoursi for the 00Z and 12Z base time runs.
- Forecasts for CONUS are at 3 hour intervals out to 48 hoursi for the 06Z and 18Z base time runs.
- Forecasts for Alaska are at 6 hour intervals out to 60 hours.
- New forecasts are generally available ~3-4 hours after model base time.
- GFS-US
- Model base times are 00Z, 06Z, 12Z, and 18Z.
- Forecasts for North America every 6 hours out to 10 days at 6-hour forecast intervals.
- New forecasts are generally available ~4-4.5 hours after base times.
- RAP
- The RAP 1-HR model has hourly forecasts out to 3-hours when the RAP-3-HR is not run.
- The RAP 3-HR model has base time of 00Z, 03Z, 06Z, 09Z, 12Z, 15Z, 18Z, and 21Z, and 1-hour forecasts out to 6-hours and then 3-hour forecasts out to 12-hours.
- New forecasts are generally available ~1-1.5 hours after base times.
